Speedy U.S. Embassy Helps Oasis Get Tour Rolling

Launch.com reports Noel Gallagher of reportedly lost his passport and was almost left behind when the band left the U.K. for the start of their tour of America that began on Friday in Pompano Beach, Florida. Luckily, the U.S. embassy in Britain rushed through his emergency application in a couple hours, rather than the usual six weeks. “Time was against them and they are really grateful to the U.S. Embassy for doing it so quickly,” the spokeswoman said in a statement. “If they hadn’t been so quick, we don’t know what the band would have done.” Read more.
