Sparta Not Worried About MTV Airplay

Sparta has released its latest single ‘Air’ to radio late last year and is finishing a video for it. “We’re not working with a director on it … so it will be only as good as we make it,” drummer Tony Hajjar tells the El Paso Times. Sparta is not worried about competing with other bands for air play on MTV. “There are some bands that are getting a lot of attention, but their album isn’t selling that well and people don’t show up to their shows,” Hajjar said. “We’re lucky to be selling close to 100,000 albums and the people are actually going to the shows.
