Anastasia Pantsios of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reviewed the Van’s Warped stop at Tower City Amphitheateron Friday. Pantsios writes, “Despite the increase in the number of acts, sonic diversity actually seemed to decrease. Festival regulars Reel Big Fish and Mighty Mighty Bosstones were the sole purveyors of once dominant ska punk, so their bouncy music came as a respite from the parade of pop punk bands and Clash-wannabes. Reggae ensemble Morgan Heritage was the token black band; there were no hip hop acts this year.” Cleveland.com has since removed the article.
