Slipknot Were Frustrated Trying To Get Signed
Slipknot percussionist Shawn Crahan tells Reuters that the band was frustrated over the inability to get music biz people to give them any attention. Crahan says, “It was an insult to us that we couldn’t get (record company) A&R people to come to a local bar where we were playing for 500, 600 people crammed into a room, because we were in Des Moines. They couldn’t believe that anything original or potentially new could come out of anything as desolate as Iowa.”
