Slipknot Request Pigs’ Hearts & Cows’ Intestines
Claire Gardner of Scotland on Sunday spoke with an insider at Regular Music, the Gig on the Green event promoters about the unusual requests by Slipknot for their show next month. “We got a phone call last week from the band’s manager passing on the request for animal entrails – pigs’ hearts and cows’ intestines,” the insider revealed. “I think the idea is that they will be bought from a local abattoir and kept in a bucket at the side of the stage. Then, at an arranged moment, they will start flinging the meat. I think the idea is that they are going to try and hit each other in the face with the intestines.”
