Slipknot Fans Fooled

C-101 FM in Corpus Christi, Texas successfully tricked a number of Slipknot fans into believing that the band’s frontman Corey Taylor was conducting a live interview outside the radio station’s studios the morning of Friday, April 1st (April Fool’s Day), one day after the band’s headlining appearance in the city. A fake autograph session was arranged while a pre-recorded interview with Taylor was aired and the entire incident was captured on audio and video. Audio/video at C101.com has since been removed.
