Slaves On Dope Scored Deal Quickly After LA Move
Slaves On Dope bassist Frank Salvaggio spoke with ChartAttack.com about the group’s move from Canada to Los Angeles in 1999, where they quickly found greener pastures, label interest, and a deal with Sharon Osbourne before fully unpacking. Salvaggio says it was obvious they’d made the right move. “Inside of nine months of living and gigging in L.A., we had Sharon Osbourne offering us a deal. Under a year and we were on Ozzfest! You tell me the move was wrong,” laughed Salvaggio. “That’s what makes coming back even sweeter, we’ve done something right! We get to brag!” Chartattack.com has since removed the article.
