Slash Was Suicidal During Final Guns N’ Roses Days

Ireland On-Line reports that former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash considered suicide after watching Axl Rose record his vocals at the band’s final recording session. “I was suicidal. If I’d had a gun with me at that time, I probably would have done myself in,” the current Velvet Revolver guitarist admitted. “If I’d had a half-ounce of fu**ing heroin with me, I probably just would’ve gone. It was heavy. It was a headspace I’d never been in before. Somehow I managed to go back to sleep. Then, when I woke up later that morning, I made a decision. I felt the whole weight of the world drop.”
