Izuan Shah of The Star caught Simple Plan live in Kuala Lumpur over the weekend. Shah writes, “It’s funny though that the boys cite US punk luminaries like Pennywise and Face to Face as influences, yet came across as but a poor replica of the pummelling energy and rebellion of those bands.
