Siblings Team Up To Form Jynxt

Jynxt drummer Nat Spencer spoke with Popworld.com in a Q&A, and was asked how the new band came together. “Jynxt started about six years ago when my brother Koa and I bought a computer and started experimenting with drum ‘n’ bass and jungle in our garage,” Spencer explained. “We’re also really rooted in rock and we couldn’t quite forsake that so we decided to try and merge the sounds together. We tried to sing as well but realised we were rubbish. We had a little demo of our sister Tally singing. She was living in Italy at the time so I called her up and asked her if she’d like to come and try out for our band, and she said, ‘Yeah, why not?'” Popworld.com has since shut down.
