Should U2 Call it a Day?’s Charles Marshall wrote a very interesting look at how has progressed, make that regressed, since the 80s and his feelings that U2 is ‘over.’ Marshall writes, “As good as All That You Can’t Leave Behind is at showcasing the best of the band’s traditions, there is no good place to go from here. They can’t recreate the magic of the 1980s as a full-time occupation — it’s good for a wave of nostalgia but has a life-expectancy that already has expired.” Read his full column here.
