Scott Weiland Introduces Velvet Revolver
Scott Weiland posted the following message to the official Velvet Revolver web site (velvetrevolver.net):
“I guess I’m signing on to introduce myself. Introduce myself to those new
Velvet Revolver fans who don’t know me. As well as Guns n Roses fans who
don’t know me as flesh and blood. I myself am a GnR fan since Appetite for
Destruction pretty much saved Rock n Roll for me, along with Jane’s
Addiction, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Thelonius Monster and Nirvana.”
“As well as introducing myself, I would love the opportunity to put my arms
around the bodies of our lovely STP fans, and say that I hope with all my
heart and am quite confident that you will fall in love with the Rock n Roll of
Velvet Revolver. It’s been a very positive, passionate experience.”
“Sobriety is unanimous without losing any of the Rock n Roll – Punk Rock -
Glammed out edge. I don’t know what we will evolve into, but
some kind of amalgamation of a Rock n Roll creature! Maybe it wasn’t just
fate that the Hulk Set Us Free.”
