Creed frontman Scott Stapp was quizzed by a fan about the band’s new album and how it seemed less spiritual as their former lyrics. Stapp responded, “First of all, we never made it clear what any of the songs were about or directed to. Secondly, I have no mold for which I write. I write about what is on my heart or what I’m thinking of at the time. As I have always said, I have no agenda; that was given to me by certain fans’ interpretations of the songs.
