‘Scotland Today’ correspondent Billy Sloan spoke to the Stereophonics when they recently appeared in Glasgow, asking frontman Kelly Jones about their new album, which is a departure from their previous releases. “The main approach was to try and just do something that was different from the last record, which is mainly the approach for every record we make,” Jones said. “We didn’t want to do any accoustic songs; we didn’t want to do any bluesy kind of soul songs, we wanted it to be much more kind of direct and in your face – guitars with kind of electronic flavors.” Scotlandtoday.scottishtv.co.uk has since removed the video.
