Rust Records To Distrubute New Act Lareau

Cleveland based Rust Records will distribute the new full-length CD by Triple A artists Lareau, being released on November 15th. The new disc, Changes, marks the label’s first endeavor into the AAA adult alternative arena, with the single I Need You going to radio on October 4th. As Rust Records’ President Ken Cooper explains……”I looked at our label’s roster and realized we had great rock and country music talent, but were missing something in between.” Former VP of Publicity at Eagle Rock Entertainment in New York, Jim Quinn, works with Lareau and approached Rust Records with an offer to distribute the new disc, subsequently creating yet another new division for the label. Rust Records is an imprint label with the Universal Music Group and also opened a branch office in Nashville, TN. called Rust Nashville. Rust will make the Triple A division part of the Nashville offices. The six-members of Lareau are based in Jamestown, NY and Warren, PA., with their music being described as reminiscent of Three Doors Down and Ben Harper, with a unique spin all their own. The band will be announcing a series of national tour dates shortly before the release of the Changes CD in November.
