Royalist Concert Not What Coldplay Had In Mind
Mike Doherty of Chart Attack chatted with the members of Coldplay about their new album ‘A Rush Of Blood To The Head’, and he also asked frontman Chris Martin about why the group turned down a spot in the Queen’s Jubilee. “I’m a big admirer of Prince Charles, you know,” Martin said. “I think he’s a brilliant humanitarian and does a hell of a lot of good work, but I’m not sure if it would have been the best thing for us to do to do a staunchly royalist concert to support our second record.
