Rolling Stone Writer Rips ‘The Osbournes’

Well right after slapping the Osbournes on the cover of their magazine this past issue (without their consent, and under heavy protest from Sharon Osbourne), Rolling Stone’s Anthony DeCurtis is tearing the family back down. DeCurtis writes, “The pleasure of that self-satisfaction is inevitably short-lived, though, and that’s why, however popular the show may be at the moment, The Osbournes is not going to be around very long. The show itself is entertaining and fun enough, and very well done. That’s not the problem. It’s the people in the audience who could stand to think a little more about who and what they’re watching and the uncomfortable reasons why.”
