Rock Acts Comment On September 11, 2001 Anniversary

Puddle of Mudd, Derek from Sum 41, Brian Bell of Weezer, Colin from Hundred Reasons, and Brandon Boyd from Incubus, shared their thoughts on the anniversary of September 11, 2001 to Radio 1. Brandon commented, “I’m hoping to pay respect to the situation and the people who lost in the situation in my own way… a sort of quiet reverence to the situation. And I really hope that it doesn’t get exploited like it has already in the past year. I hope people just sort of have a quiet reverence for it. Don’t forget about it obviously, but don’t make it into a big K-Mart special, sponsored by Disney, showing footage over and over and over again of the horrific images that we don’t need to see any more in my opinion.”
