Riverhead Books Putting Cobain Book Out In Fall

The Seattle Times reports James Barber, manager for Kurt Cobain’s widow, , has sold the publishing writes to Cobain’s journals to Riverhead Books, a division of Penguin Putnam. Numbers were not disclosed and the book should be out by fall. When asked about talk that Love appears to be cashing in on Kurt’s work for profit, Barber responded, “He’s not here and (the estate’s) responsibility is to promote his creativity and his legacy.” Seattletimes.nwsource.com has since removed the article.
