‘Riot Act’ Proves Eddie Vedder Doesn’t Work Alone

Dan Aquilante of the New York Post reviewed ’s new album ‘Riot Act’, which dropped Tuesday. Aquilante says, “Vedder’s lyrics are cryptic enough to be open to wide interpretation, yet straightforward enough to make the songs accessible at face value. Still, the most beautiful tune on the disc is ‘Arc’ – a kind of Gregorian chant that has Vedder singing a wordless melody while the band supplies a polyphonic chorus.” The full review at nypost.com has since been removed.
