Launch.com spoke with Filter frontman Richard Patrick who says he’s settled his beef with Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst. Comments in a recent issue of Playboy quoted the singer making some negative remarks about Patrick, but Durst insists the quotes were taken from an interview a couple years ago. “He prefers to go ahead and have arguments in the press. I don’t. I have a private life and I like to not have to rebuttal against things that he says,” Patrick said. “All that being said, he’s in a different world now. He’s really trying to focus on the Limp Bizkit record, and I’m proud of him. We’re friends again, and I email him all the time so it’s a good thing. He’s Fred and I’m Richard. (In British accent) We just have to be conscious of that, really.”
