R.E.M. Endorses Letter Asking Bush To Stop War Rhetoric

More than 100 entertainers including R.E.M.members Michael Stipe, Peter Buck and Mike Mills signed a letter which says a war with Iraq will “increase the likelihood of terrorist attacks, damage the economy and undermine our moral standing in the world.”
