Radiohead’s Greenwood Brothers Get On Very Well
Radiohead’s Colin and Jonny Greenwood spoke with Living Abroad Magazine about being able to get along better than their other British contemporary brothers, Liam and Noel Gallagher of Oasis. “Ha-ha. Well we don’t come to blows,” Colin said. “Well, maybe verbal ones. No, we get on very well. He’s actually very shy and self-deprecating. He has a great sense of humor, and musically he’s so talented. His idea of a good time is playing music, retiring early to bed and listening to Sherlock Holmes’ stories on his headphones.” The elder Greenwood added, “In some ways, I wish he’d gone to University [all other Radiohead members have degrees]. Because he only went for two months before we signed to EMI. He’s quite sheltered, and hasn’t done the real working for a living sort of thing.”
