After Contactmusic.com quoted Sharon Osbourne saying that Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty “needs a bleedin’ good slap,” and that he “needs someone who loves him, who really gives him some love… He needs to be knocked out a couple of times…and thrown into rehab – It’s his only chance of survival,” Metro’s Green Room column sought a reaction. “I never like to be disrespectful to the elderly and I guess she is knocking on a bit despite all that surgery,” he said.
