Pete Doherty Fined For Bringing Heroine Into Court
Pete Doherty was in court on Wednesday to plead guilty to possessing heroine during a court appearance on December 21st. The Babyshambles frontman insisted he didn’t know the heroin was there and was fined £750 with £1,000 costs. It was Doherty’s 22nd drugs conviction.
His lawyer Bruce Clark told District Judge Joti Boparai: “He was in a rush to get to court. He was handed a coat and he didn’t check the pockets. He feels very stupid. This was no mickey-take, it was a mistake.”
