Pete Doherty Dropped By The Libertines
After his appearance in court on Tuesday (June 29), it has been announced that Pete Doherty, lead singer of The Libertines, has been dropped by the band until he sorts out his drug problems. “Peter is and always will be a Libertine and when he cleans up from his addictions he will be immediately welcomed back into the band,” band member Carl Barat said. “This decision is made with love and with no disregard to Peter and his problems.”
