Pete Doherty Defiant As Jail Time Possibly Looms

Though Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is due to be tried soon on charges of blackmail and robbery, the drug addicted rocker seems he’s ready to die rather than get help. “I’m ready for it man. I’m really ready. I don’t care. I’ll die for what I believe in,” Doherty tells Arena Homme+. “I’d take a bullet to the gut. You’ve got to be thankful for the things you’ve got away with. Four years in prison won’t be so bad.” He added, “I’m a bomb ready to go off. I’m under a lot of pressure.”
