The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports that all available tickets to Pearl Jam’s Oct. 22 performance — a rare acoustic concert at the 2,500-seat Benaroya Hall — sold out in less than eight minutes yesterday, leaving thousands of fans in Seattle and throughout the country without a chance to see the city’s resident supergroup in an intimate setting for a good cause. Helping fuel sales was the low ticket price — $40 a person. Newly purchased tickets were selling almost immediately on eBay for astronomical prices — up to $999 a pair. Read more.
