Good Charlotte bassist Paul Thomas spoke with Time Off magazine about the last time the band was on tour in Australia, where he broke his leg during a show in Brisbane, leaving him wheelchair-bound for the remainder of the tour. “Yeah man, it was the first show of the tour, so I had to do the whole tour sitting down – it was such a fu**ing bummer,” Thomas said. “I did, like, a spinning jump off the drum riser and just landed on my foot sideways and it just popped. It instantly swelled up and I almost sh** my pants and that would have been more embarrassing than breaking my foot, you know, sh**ting my pants on stage, but thank God it didn’t happen.”
