Papa Roach Fills In For Alien Ant Farm At Atlanta Gig
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that following Alien Ant Farm’s unfortunate bus accident, the group’s planned performance at the June 28 Downtown Rocks free concert series had to be scrapped, leaving 99X program director Chris Williams in a bind. Luckily, Papa Roach had an opening that night, and the group was working with Black Eyed Peas, who was the opening act on the bill. “The two bands were working together in the studio on a song and became friends,” Williams said. “It was a great coincidence.” P-Roach’s new album dropped yesterday, so the appearance can benefit the band’s album sales in return.
