Something To Burn Announce Tour Dates With Fair to Midland And Karnivool

September 2009 saw the release of Something To Burn’s debut album ‘Transitions’ on Soft Drive Records, the record label founded by Stone Temple Pilots front man Scott Weiland. After playing a handful of shows last year with Stone Temple Pilots and some successful headlining shows of their own, the rock band are gearing up to hit the road this spring with Fair to Midland and Karnivool. The tour starts March 23rd in San Antonio, TX and wraps up April 14th in Denver, CO.

Something To Burn lead singer Greg Wayne said about the upcoming tour: “Imagine a caged tiger…pacing back & forth…aching to get back out into the wild…dying to do what it was put on this earth to do. Well, Something to Burn is that tiger and we are finally being set free this spring. I’d do everything I could to catch one of these shows if I were you…just sayin.”

Bullet For My Valentine Announce U.S. Headlining Tour Dates

Bullet For My Valentine have announced dates for their U.S. headline tour in support of the band’s upcoming third release ‘Fever’, in stores April 27th and featuring the single ‘Your Betrayal’, which was the #1 most added track on alternative radio. This marks the bands first trip back to American soil since playing the main stage at The Mayhem Festival last summer.

The tour starts in Worcester, MA on April 30th at the Palladium and concludes on May 30th in Detroit, MI at the Fillmore. Joining Bullet For My Valentine on tour will be Chiodos and Airbourne. Tour highlights include New Jersey’s Bamboozle Festival on May 1 and Columbus, Ohio’s Rock on the Range on May 23rd.

High On Fire Discuss New Album ‘Snakes For The Divine’

High On Fire are out with footage from the making of their fifth studio album ‘Snakes For The Divine’, in stores and online now on E1 Music. The Oakland heavy metal band’s frontman Matt Pike did most of the talking, discussing the disc being more aggresive, Jeff Matz contributing more of the writing this time around, basing the disc off the David Icke theory, a word to describe the band, Des Kensel announcing his wife was pregnant inspiring their song ‘Frost Hammer’, and not caring who he tours with. “I don’t really give a bleep who I tour with. I love everybody equally and I’m an equal opportunity employer and I employ myself,” Pike said. Watch the interview below.
