Proving that having a variation of the real word ‘Biscuit’, Limp Bizkit searches show trouble with fans knowing how to spell the band’s name, albeit rarely. While ‘Limp Bizkit’ got 90,906 searches in August on Goto.com, ‘Limp Biscuit’ got only 727.

Kittie Talks After Sold Out Garage Gig
The BBC talked to girl rockers Kittie after their sold out performance at London’s ‘The Garage’ and ahead of their new album ‘Oracle’.
The band said of their new album, “We’re eerily anticipating the release of the album and wanting to see what everyone thinks. We’re very proud of it and hope that people share in it…”

Last Week’s Puddle Of Mudd Debut Breaks Record
First week sales of 116,097 put Puddle of Mudd in the top all time slot for being the most successful rock debut album.
The band is signed on Fred Durst’s Flawless Records label and he says of the band, “Don’t let these big numbers surprise you,” said Durst. “These guys have been touring their asses off since April…everybody who’s seen them really knows what’s up. They write great songs and deliver live. What more can you want!”

R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe Makes The Call
Foxnews.com’s Roger Friedman reports sources tell him Michael Stipe encountered a frantic neighbor outside of his apartment near the World Trade Center on September 11 as she was having trouble getting a hold of her parents on the phone. She gave Stipe the number not knowing who he was and later found out the singer made the call as when she finally reached her parents they said, “This nice young man named Michael called and told us you were OK …”

U2, Springsteen, Others To Perform Network Telethon Concert
Alicia Keys, Michael Jackson, U2, Bruce Springsteen, as well as a handful of other music industry superstars will be performing Donny Hathaway’s, “SOMEDAY WE’LL ALL BE FREE” LIVE on the special television event, “America: A Show of Unity.” Alicia Keys joins a stellar group of artists to raise money and pay respect to those individuals who have lost their lives in the World Trade Center Attack. All proceeds will go to the World Trade Center Relief Fund, recently initiated by New York State’s Governor, George Pataki. The program will broadcast live from 9-11pm on Friday, Sept 21st on all four national networks, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, as well as, multiple networks internationally. Other artists to perform include Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, and Sheryl Crow.
