Robbie Crane Explains Vince Neil Punchout
Ratt bass player Robbie Crane and ex member of Vince Neil’s band talked with Metal-Sludge.com about his coming to blows with the former Motley Crue singer. Crane says he and Neil haven’t reconciled but he insists that he is extremely appreciative of the opportunity Vince gave him in his band, even though Vince has been telling people otherwise. The New York Post’s Page Six has awarded Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock their Sixiest Couple award for 2001 saying, “The two, who were both seeing other people at the time, hooked up at the VH1 Divas Live after-party and have been together since – separated only by her gravity-defying breasts, and process-servers for her ex, Tommy Lee, who is battling for custody of their two sons. May the better parent win.”

Sum41 Don’t Care What Music You Like
Popmusicfan.com talked with Sum41’s Dave Baksh about the group’s punk/pop crossover sound saying, “We’re probably the one group that couldn’t care less what type of music you like. Crazy Town Preps Second Album
Billboard reports Crazy Town are working in Hollywood at a newly purchased studio to put together the band’s second album. So far, they’ve written 30 songs for the disc. So far, Squirrel and Epic Mazur are working on the album without a producer, though the label says one will be brought in eventually.

Guitar World spoke with P.O.D. guitarist Marcos Curiel about his first guitar hero, who he admits is, “Carlos Santana. I grew up in a Hispanic neighborhood in south San Diego knowing that he came from Tijuana—that’s where he started playing. I’d hear all the stories from my family when I was growing up. My dad had all the vinyl. He played it so much that it just grew on me as a kid. It’s great stuff and I still love it today. Old Santana, new Santana—it doesn’t matter. The guy plays with so much heart, and I love that.”

Manson’s Crotch Rubbing Charge Reduced
Marilyn Manson had a felony charge of criminal sexual conduct reduced to a misdemeanor last week by Judge Gerald E. McNally. The judge wasn’t convinced the offense warranted a felony charge and lessened it to a misdemeanor disorderly persons charge. Manson’s second charge of misdemeanor assault still stands.
