Rock acts on television this week include The All-American Rejects, who visit ‘Total Request Live’ on Monday and perform on the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday; Starsailor, who perform on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ on Tuesday and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Wednesday; Tommy Lee, who visits ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Wednesday; several other rock acts who appear on the VMAs include presentations by Guns N’ Roses singer Axl Rose, Fall Out Boy, Amy Lee of Evanescence, and Jared Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars, and performances by Panic! at the Disco, OK Go, The Killers, and the Raconteurs; and Foo Fighters, who perform on ‘The Tonight Show’ on Friday.
