Of Montreal frontman Kevin Barnes spoke with Time Off magazine about whether the band’s recent increased profile has added pressure to the creative process in making their latest effort, ‘Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?’. “It hasn’t really been a factor because for me selling records isn’t really a motivating concern,” Barnes responded. “I just basically make music for myself, although I do have a desire to share the music with other people – that’s why I release the records when I’m done with them.
