Noel Gallagher ‘Got Hooked On Valium To Kick Cocaine’

Oasis star Noel Gallagher tells NME he became hooked on Valium as he tried to kick his cocaine use. “It was harder coming off them than anything else,” he admitted. “For a while after that I was addicted to prescription drugs cos they give you things that make you feel calm and all that. I was on downers reflecting on my drug past and thinking ‘well where did it all go wrong?’ And maybe six months, a year afterwards I was thinking ‘well I’m still addicted to drugs’.”
