Reuters reports U2 singer Bono denied reports that there are plans for a ‘Live Aid 2′ to raise money in the battle to fight AIDS, but urged countries of the European Union to fulfil their pledge to commit 0.7 percent of their national incomes to overseas aid. “At this point there are no plans for a Live Aid 2,” Bono told reporters as he entered a meeting of EU development ministers in Dublin. “It’s always there in the background but right now, no. Right now we’re after billions (of dollars) not millions. A L’ive Aid 2’ would help, but it wouldn’t fix the problem.”
