No Free Cab Rides For Gomez’s Tom Gray
ITN chatted about the World Cup with Tom Gray from Gomez backstage at Hard Rock Calling. “I had a very heavy argument with an Argentinian taxi driver in Brighton this morning, who bet me that if England win, he’ll give me every taxi journey forever for free in his taxicab, so obviously I’ve got to hope that we win now,” Tom explained. “I didn’t even offer anything in return, he was so convinced that England are gonna lose.” Since that interview, the cabbie was proven correct, as England lost to Germany on Sunday 4-1.
