Nickelback Rock Toronto

Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger had wanted to participate in the SARS relief concerts at Air Canada Centre, SkyDome and Downsview Park over the summer, but were in the studio finishing up their just released album ‘The Long Road’. “We were watching [the Rolling Stones' benefit concert] on TV while we made the record,” Kroeger told RollingStone.com. “It broke my heart not to be there, but we just couldn’t stop recording.” The group made up for it by playing a free outdoor concert Saturday night at Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square.
