New QOTSA Album To Feature The Strokes’ Casablancas

Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme spoke with Billboard.com about Nine Inch Nails mainman Trent Reznor joining the group in the studio during the recording of its upcoming album ‘Era Vulgaris’, due June 12th. But their collaboration didn’t make it on the final cut. “We’re going to get creative about how that song comes out and where it goes,” Homme explained. Someone who did make it on the disc was The Strokes’ singer Julian Casablancas on ‘Sick, Sick, Sick’. “(Casablancas) is singing and playing a digital guitar,” Homme revealed. “It’s a lame looking thing, but it sounds really cool.” Yahoo.com has since removed the full article.
