bassist Brendan McMillan spoke with The Star Phoenix about catching heat online for being signed to Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records label and being compared to Chad’s band , who have been dubbed one of the titans of butt-rock. “I’ll see it sometimes on social networks with snooty comments. It is what it is,” McMillan said. “If you listen to the record all the way through, it doesn’t really sound like Nickelback. The people who love to hate Nickelback are going to say anything they can, but I don’t mind being associated with them. They have legions, hundreds of thousands of fans. That’s not a bad thing, I don’t think.”
