Mustaine To Announce Megadeth’s Future This Summer

Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message in the “Forums” section of the band’s official web site: “There are so many rumors going around about this summer tour that I am really enjoying myself. We confirmed the fourth band for our main stage (if there is a second stage) and I am thrilled to announced that the total amount of letters for the four bands so far are about 40 letters. I know this helps a lot of a little and will make some of you mad.

“We are just deciding who the last guest will be on this initial ‘flagship’ run of what we hope to be a recurring festival next year too.

“Lastly, I had a huge conference call with all my management and attorneys yesterday about my career and its current ascension, much to my delight, and I have made up my mind what I am going to do about Megadeth. I will make my announcement sometime this summer. It is going to take a lot of work, and probably some intense struggles; not that I am a stranger to them, but I think some of you will be happy for me.”
