Musicians From Countries Who Ban Rock Music Flock To SXSW

Musicians who are forbidden from playing rock music in their home countries flocked to the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas, where they’re grateful to play without creating any static. NBC’s Amna Nawaz spoke with some, including Lazywall’s Nao and Monz Anegay of Morocco, where heavy metal music was once an enemy of the state. Watch the report, aired April 15th, below.
