Motley Crue Discuss CrueFest And ‘Saints Of Los Angeles’

Fox News was on hand as announced their summer tour appropriately titled Cruefest, featuring supporting acts Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx:AM, and Trapt. “You know, we’ve been playing festivals since we were a baby band,” bassist Nikki Sixx explained, “and I don’t mean this as an insult to the other festivals, but a lot of times, they try so hard to to be cool, that they miss the fact that it’s about hit songs. When you listen to Trapt, you listen to Sixx:AM, you listen to Papa Roach, and as it goes higher, up the list, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Motley Crue, it’s like six hours of bands that have amazing songs.” Watch the clip, also featuring comments about the band’s ninth album ‘Saints Of Los Angeles’, below the fold.
