Motley Crue Discuss CrueFest And ‘Saints Of Los Angeles’

Fox News was on hand as announced their summer tour appropriately titled Cruefest, featuring supporting acts Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx:AM, and Trapt. “You know, we’ve been playing festivals since we were a baby band,” bassist Nikki Sixx explained, “and I don’t mean this as an insult to the other festivals, but a lot of times, they try so hard to to be cool, that they miss the fact that it’s about hit songs. When you listen to Trapt, you listen to Sixx:AM, you listen to Papa Roach, and as it goes higher, up the list, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, , it’s like six hours of bands that have amazing songs.” Watch the clip, also featuring comments about the band’s ninth album ‘Saints Of Los Angeles’, below the fold.
