Most Rockers Will Enjoy ‘Meteora’, Except Metal Purists
Brian McCollum of the Detroit Free Press reviewed Linkin Park’s latest album ‘Meteora’. He writes, “The new album will likely be derided by metal purists. Though the band is playing tighter as a unit — and reports say its recent live performances show vast improvement — there are moments when it all sounds too carefully plotted out, too self-consciously groomed, too… perfect. For everyone else, the precision will likely prove irresistible. Because when it comes down to it, Linkin Park knows how to write a catchy song.” Freep.com has since removed the article.
