Mom’s Scandalous Memoir Has Courtney Fuming
The New York Post reports Courtney Love is furious with her estranged mother, Linda Carroll, for penning ‘Her Mother’s Daughter’, a scandalous memoir claiming she’s been a violent, drug and booze-addled mess since her teens. “We find it astonishing, and profoundly depressing, that any mother would write a book containing numerous allegations about her own young daughter,” her rep Peter Asher complained in a statement. “This is especially true of Ms. Carroll, who abandoned her daughter when she was 7 years old and whom Ms. Love thus barely knows at all … We strongly suggest that the book be viewed for what it is, a work of vicious and greedy fiction.”
