Miss Conduct frontwoman Kim Waterson spoke with Popworld.com in a Q&A, responding to whether she thought it’s harder for girls to be taken seriously in the rock community. “Yeah. Until they see you live you sometimes get shunned,” she said, “but I don’t give a sh** what anyone thinks about me being a girl because when I’m on stage I’m not just a girly girl who stands there and sings and tries to look pretty.
