Greg Kot of the Chicago Tribune was on hand at the Allstate Arena on Friday (August 27) to catch Godsmack and Metallica perform. Kot writes, “As the man said, they’re still the kings of metal, at least in the sense that they’re the most publicly renowned of rock’s heaviest hitters. But the band’s erratic Allstate performance suggests the crown is starting to wobble. And for some fed-up fans, the crown no longer fits at all.” Chicagotribune.com has since removed the article.
