Metallica Honored By ASCAP

In an unlikely double-bill, hard rock band and folk singer/songwriter Jackson Browne were honored at ASCAP’s annual Pop Music Awards on Tuesday. (May 18, 2004) More than 600 leading songwriters and recording artists attended the event held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California. ASCAP stands for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.
