The Rocky Mountain News reports that thousands of Metallica fans packed Invesco Field at Mile High on Friday night, ready to thrash, mosh, point fingers, sneer, yell and be antisocial. “Metallica’s a band that sold platinum records and never got a song on the radio for a decade (in the 1980s),” said Brian Corry of Breckenridge. “The mainstream started liking Metallica when they started making (music) videos.” Rockymountainnews.com has since removed the article.
